Unlock your potential.
Amplify your impact.

I’m a giver, a listener, a mom, a wife, a student, a coach. I lead with my heart and my relationships are a driving force in my life. My friends describe me as compassionate, kind, funny, grounded, and peaceful. Many people and experiences have helped me grow into this version of myself. Some of them include:

  • Being the daughter of a first generation American
  • Growing up in a family with an enormous generosity of spirit
  • Overcoming a childhood illness and living an active and healthy life with an autoimmune disease
  • Supporting and leading outdoor leadership programs for experiential outdoor education programs
  • Launching Summer Search Seattle & serving as its executive director for 8 years
  • Building a coaching program for emerging leaders for a large national nonprofit
  • Facilitating supportive and engaging peer learning groups of nonprofit leaders
  • Chairing a nonprofit board as we navigated through significant personnel and organizational changes

I am passionate about helping leaders and organizations unlock their potential and amplify their impact. I have done this as a group facilitator, board member and board chair, and most recently as an executive coach and consultant. I hold a BA in Communications from the University of Colorado. In 2019, I completed my Advanced Executive Coaching Certificate through the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara, CA.

In coaching, we focus on all aspects of your life – your whole, unique person and how you show up at home, at work, at play, and in your relationships. We will work together to create your leadership goals and adjust your coaching plan as needed to account for learning and insights along the way.

How does this process work?

  • Initial consult

Our first step will be an initial Discovery Call. In this 45 minute call, we will

    • Develop clarity around what you’re reaching for at this point in your career. Some examples of common coaching topics I see are self-confidence, career transitions, burnout, imposter syndrome, identifying personal values and purpose, emerging leaders developing their unique voice, and balancing your energy in work and outside of work.
    • Ensure we are a good fit for each other. I describe my coaching style as collaborative, supportive, honest, and joyful.
    • Orient you to coaching. At a high level, coaching is a forward focused partnership working to get you closer to your clearly identified best self. Coaching is not mentoring, cheerleading, therapy or consulting.
    • If the fit feels right, we’ll discuss our next steps (i.e. contract, logistics, etc.)
  • Begin engagement

Continue to build our common understanding of where you are currently vs. where you want to go through bi-weekly 60 minute calls either via webcam or telephone over a 3-6 month period of time. We will discuss what is important to you at this time, discuss your strengths, potential obstacles, habits that will help and/or hinder your growth, and how we will measure success.

  • Build your plan

Together, we will draft your plan, and work on it in ongoing sessions. In each call, we will discuss what is important to you at this time, remembering that you always bring the agenda. We will often make reference to your plan, your goals, and your desired future.

  • Conclude engagement

Discuss our learnings together, share feedback, develop your ongoing learning plan, and prepare you to sustain your growth.
